Luigi is a Mandingo fighting slave who belongs to Amerigo Vessepi. When Django and Dr. King Schultz arrive in Greenville, they found him fighting against Big Fred. Luigi loses the fight when Big Fred makes him blind, and finishes him off later with a hammer.
