Michael Parks (born Harry Samuel Parks, April 24, 1940 – May 9, 2017) was an American actor who played one of the LeQuint Dickey Mining Co. Employees alongside Quentin Tarantino and John Jarratt in Django Unchained. He had his own television series in the late sixties and early seventies called Then Came Bronson, played Earl McGraw four times and was well known for his award winning performance in Kevin Smith's Red State. He is one of many well known actors including Russ Tamblyn and Cooper Huckabee who played supporting roles in the film. He put on an Australian accent for the film and was killed by Django. Quentin Tarantino has called him the greatest actor.
